Congratulations Helena! Our Nurse of the Month for October

Helena was chosen to be Thornbury’s October Nurse of the Month based on some fantastic feedback from our Bristol Team. They were extremely appreciative of the support and assistance Helena provided with some important clinical admin.

We caught up with Helena on her win, read what she had to say below.

How long have you been working with Thornbury Nursing?

I have worked for Thornbury Nursing as a registered nurse for about 5 years now. I previously worked as a healthcare assistant with Thornbury before qualifying as a nurse.

What attracted you to join Thornbury Nursing?

I love the flexibility Thornbury Nursing gives me. I feel like I have a great work/life balance.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I love my job. I love going to different intensive care units as it exposes me to a variation of different patients and expands my knowledge and skill set. Also, I have recently been helping in the office which is a completely different challenge for me and one that I have really enjoyed.

How do you feel about being Nurse of the Month?

It’s so nice to be appreciated, thank you Thornbury! I am proud to work for you.
