Congratulations Annmarie! Our Nurse of the Month for September

Annmarie was chosen to be Thornbury’s September Nurse of the Month based on some fantastic feedback from our Bristol Team regarding her brilliant work with a community client. In their words:

  • “Annmarie has been extraordinary!”
  • “Annmarie was absolutely amazing during an emergency situation for a community client. She reviewed her care, made contact with all statutory services to request reviews and spent time emotionally reassuring and supporting the client. She worked with the District Nurse team to evaluate the client’s skin integrity and change of dressing – which has vastly improved her skin. Honestly, she was brilliant”

We caught up with Annmarie on her win, read what she had to say below.

How long have you been working with Thornbury Nursing?

I have been working with Thornbury for approximately 2 and a half years now.

What attracted you to join Thornbury Nursing?

I joined Thornbury because I wanted flexibility with my working and I like the freedom to be able to pick and chose when and where I work.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I find my job very rewarding. I enjoy being able to work in many different clinical and community areas. I feel privileged to be part of the Thornbury Nursing team.

How do you feel about being Nurse of the Month?

I am extremely overwhelmed and appreciative!
