About the opportunity

We are looking for an experienced marketing manager to guide an established and competent team through a contracted period. If you have bags of initiative and strong people management skills with a successful history in developing winning brand marketing, innovation and communication strategies, then please get in touch. As the Marketing Manager for TNS, you will take a key role is presenting our brand to the market. You will be responsible for managing a small team and being a key contact within the business for key stake holders to rely on.

What you will be doing

  • Managing marketing team members
  • Liaising with marketing managers from across Acacium Group to ensure best practice and to collaborate on group projects
  • Regular catch ups with senior management to give an overview of marketing activities
  • Monitoring media attention
  • Flagging competitor information / insight to senior management
  • Managing marketing budgets and spend
  • Working with team to manage supplier relationships
  • Reviewing content produced by the team and signing off
  • Ensuring wider business is aware of marketing initiatives and promotions to help promote to workers
  • Approving social media content and posts
  • Working with the US team to manage website content and job posting on external platforms
  • Briefing copywriters
  • Briefing designers
  • Ensuring all design and content is on-brand

We believe to be successful within this role, you will need to have

  • Demonstrable experience of working in a marketing manager position within a commercial environment
  • A flexible, adaptive, hands-on approach
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. You’ll be required to work closely with senior management to understand business objectives, opportunities and challenges, ensuring proactive marketing assistance
  • Experience in creating marketing strategies and tactical
  • Strong copywriting and proofreading skills
  • Experience with digital marketing platforms, including website, e-comms and social media
  • Experience in managing events and producing marketing collateral
  • You should be analytical, data-driven and commercially focused with the ability to deliver innovative solutions
