Grab a Grand 2023: Terms and Conditions

  1. This promotion is available to a specified group of nurses, midwives and healthcare assistants (referred to as candidates throughout these terms), who work for Thornbury Nursing and the Scottish Nursing Guild across England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland
  2. Maximum number of shifts that can be claimed as part of the promotion is 40
  3. Minimum number of shifts that can be claimed as part of this promotions is 6
  4. Maximum payment per person is £1000 (€1000 for nurses in the Republic of Ireland)
  5. All individual shifts worked will count as 1 shift for the purposes of this promotion
  6. Multiple shifts worked with the same client on one day will count as 1 shift for the purposes of this promotion
  7. Shifts worked with more than one client on any given day (eg early and a late) will count as 2 shifts for the purpose of this promotion
  8. Shifts worked on 14 February (Valentine’s Day), 17 February, 1 March (St. David’s Day), 14 March and 19 March (Mother’s Day) will count as 2 shifts towards your shift total, except where 2 shifts are already attributed for working with more than one client on the same day
  9. Payments will be subject to tax and NI / PRSI dedications
  10. Any claims must be submitted by 23:59 on Friday 14 April 2023. Any claims submitted after this date and time will not be valid
  11. Claims must be submitted via the Grab a Grand promotion page on the Quick Nurse website. You can find this within the My Details section of the Quick Nurse website. Claims will not be accepted via any other format
  12. All claims will be processed, and payment made by Friday 28 April 2023
  13. This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other Thornbury Nursing or Scottish Nursing Guild promotion
  14. This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion run by one of Thornbury Nursing or the Scottish Nursing Guild’s sister companies within Acacium Group
  15. Shift targets vary across all eligible candidates and will be set based on the number of shifts previously worked in a specified ‘control period’
  16. The control period is 15 November 2022 – 3 January 2023
  17. We cannot guarantee a specific number of shifts will be available for your skill set throughout the promotion period
  18. Candidates can redeem their bonus early by ‘Cashing Out’ after working a minimum of 6 shifts during the promotion period. The candidate will receive the bonus that corresponds with the number of shifts worked and cannot re-enter the promotion.
  19. Candidates can ‘Cash Out’ via the ‘Cash Out’ button on the Grab a Grand promotion page on the Quick Nurse website.
  20. If a candidate goes ‘non-compliant’ during the promotion period due to a piece of compliance expiring, they void their position in the promotion and will not be eligible for any bonus payments.
  21. If a candidate is involved in a complaint’s procedure during the promotion period, they void their position in the promotion and will not be eligible for any bonus payments.
  22. Haven’t worked recently refers to a candidate who has never worked for Thornbury Nursing and/or the Scottish Nursing Guild, a non-compliant candidate, a candidate who hasn’t worked for more than 12 months, a candidate who hasn’t worked in 13 weeks or a candidate who did not work in the specified ‘control period.’
  23. Candidates will only receive the bonus that corresponds with the shifts worked banding (found in the target table sent to you via email directly from Thornbury Nursing or the Scottish Nursing Guild). For example, if you work 15 shifts you will receive the bonus associated with that target and not an accumulation of all bonuses related to lower target levels
  24. Only one claim per candidate will be accepted

  26. Thornbury Nursing and the Scottish Nursing Guild reserves the right to:
    • Vary the terms and conditions of this promotion at its absolute discretion
    • Reject claims if all terms and conditions are not met
    • Cancel or discontinue this promotion without having to pay any outstanding claims, introduce a replacement scheme, offer compensation or inform candidates
