CPD
Thornbury Nursing Services provide the highest quality workers to our service users and clients by ensuring that each and every nurse, midwife, HCA, and ODP meet a very specific recruitment and skills criteria, above and beyond standard expectations.
Competency updates
If you are unable to provide evidence of your competency updates, you are welcome to join the voluntary courses provided by Thornbury. These study days cover manual handling, basic paediatric and adult life support, anaphylaxis and automated external defibrillation. It’s a rolling program that takes place throughout the year and is available at locations across the country.
Evidence of the above competencies is essential to remain compliant with Thornbury and is required to be updated on an annual basis. If you need to provide updated evidence of competency, or discuss available course dates please call the RTC Team on 0345 120 5251. To secure a place on a course, we ask for a deposit to hold your place. This is refundable on confirmation of attendance.
