We’re looking for community nurses

Thornbury Nursing Services is a community nursing agency in need of community nurses for temporary and last-minute placements across England and Wales. We supply community nurses for organisations such as care homes, as well as one-to-one work with clients in their home. All of our nurses provide a high standard of care, and in return, receive exceptionally high pay rates and full professional support.

What can you expect from a community nurse placement with us?

Community nurses are often needed at short notice, in remote locations, or on difficult to cover shifts. As a community nursing agency, we aim to support healthcare providers when they are struggling to provide care to a patient due to these circumstances. We provide an exceptionally high standard of care and, therefore, offer great benefits to our community nurses.

Some of the benefits we offer include:

  • Paid NMC fees
  • Reimbursed travel expenses
  • Free annual flu voucher
  • Flexible shifts
  • 24/7 nurse led telephone support

In a community nurse job with Thornbury Nursing Services, you will work shifts for various healthcare providers on a temporary basis. Despite the nature of these shifts being last minute or in remote locations, we expect the standard of service to remain high. Therefore, you must be recently experienced, and we offer training opportunities to help you enhance your skills and stay up to date with best practices.

To allocate shifts, we use our Quick Nurse app. With this, you can tell us your availability and decide when and where you want to work. This enables us to work around your schedule, so you pick up last-minute community nurse jobs alongside other part-time of full-time jobs if you wish.
