Congratulations Jonathan! Our Nurse of the Month for August
Jonathan was chosen to be Thornbury’s August Nurse of the Month following some fantastic feedback from the mother of a patient he recently cared for at a minor injury unit:
“My daughter burnt her arm and we were seen by Jonathan, who was fantastic – so kind, caring, and professional. It was such a pleasure to have him as a nurse caring for us.”
We caught up with Jonathan on his win, read what he had to say below.
How long have you been working with Thornbury Nursing?
I have worked for Thornbury as an ENP for 3 years. I started in July 2020 but also worked as a staff nurse for Thornbury before my ENP training.
What attracted you to join Thornbury Nursing?
With the skills and knowledge I have accumulated over the years, Thornbury Nursing Services offers competitive rates of pay for these skills. The payroll service is very efficient and the funds reach your account within days.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
What I enjoy most about being an ENP with Thornbury is working with great teams in various locations. I’ve worked with some amazing, inclusive teams of ENPs, HCAs, radiographers, and receptionists, as well as brilliant supportive managers.
How do you feel about being Nurse of the Month?
It is a surprise and I am grateful to receive such amazing feedback/recognition for a job myself and my colleagues do day in and day out. Often without any appreciation in busy environments. There are many amazing nurses that I work with across various locations too that make up a great team.
Congratulations Jonathan, you deserve it!
