We pay what we say
- We don’t believe that these schemes generally benefit our workers
- We’re concerned that many of them may not comply with HMRC (currently or in the future)
You deserve to work with an agency that is open and honest with you about your pay and any associated fees. At Thornbury Nursing, we will always be honest with you. We pay what we say.
View our pay ratesPayroll is processed five days a week at Thornbury Nursing – Monday through Friday, so you’ll be paid within days of completing your shifts.
At Thornbury, we operate a Pay-As-You-Earn (PAYE) payroll which means that we always pay our nurses directly, and tax income at source.
We do not use umbrella companies or permit our nurses to operate under a limited company or via umbrella schemes. This is for two simple reasons:
We strongly believe that we offer the best all-round package, and most importantly, unlike other agencies, we always pay mileage back in full to our nurses.
Under the Pensions Act 2008, every employer in the UK must enroll their staff into a pension scheme and contribute towards it.
At Thornbury, workers will be automatically enrolled into the People’s Partnership scheme three months after your first payment from us. You will automatically contribute 5% and we will contribute 3% for the current tax year.
