Congratulations Daniel! Our Nurse of the Month for November
Daniel was chosen to be Thornbury’s November Nurse of the Month following some fantastic feedback from one of our community clients:
“I would like to recognise Daniel, who went above and beyond his call of duty. His care has been outstanding and he has even helped with cooking fresh food.”
We caught up with Daniel on his win. Read what he had to say below.
How long have you been working with Thornbury Nursing?
I have worked for Thornbury since 2019.
What attracted you to join Thornbury Nursing?
After many years of working full-time and gaining broad experience, I decided I wanted to work freelance. It was at that moment that my colleague introduced me to Thornbury Nursing Services.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I love what I do and I give it my best. I have always loved caring for people and being there to make a difference. My whole spirit and wellbeing feels good within and I must attest I feel blessed. Having a big heart to serve humanity, and understanding life as a whole, gives more inner understanding to do my job and continue to love it. I am grateful.
How do you feel about being Nurse of the Month?
It was a good feeling to know I have been nominated. It was nice to know that people do see and appreciate the effort demonstrated by others in the wake of good care and the need for that extra mile.
Congratulations Daniel, you deserve it!
