Cecilia was chosen to be Thornbury’s July Nurse of the Month based on some fantastic feedback we received from a client. The client praised the joyful, uplifting atmosphere she created for patients by playing music and having a smiley, happy demeanour when interacting with them. Cecilia’s kindness, care and expertise lifted the whole ward and we think that deserves to be recognised! Thank you Cecilia.

We caught up with Cecilia on her win, read what she had to say below.

How long have you been working with Thornbury Nursing?

I have been working with Thornbury for 3 years now.

What attracted you to join Thornbury Nursing?

I wanted to join Thornbury for the flexibility and reasonable rates they offer. Plus, I can work anywhere across the country and I’m not limited on my options.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I enjoy the flexibility and getting to work with all types of people in any setting.

How do you feel about being Nurse of the Month?

I am surprised but grateful for the recommendation.
