Joseph was chosen to be Thornbury’s April Nurse of the Month following some fantastic feedback from clients about his work. This is what they had to say:

“Joseph did an amazing job with a patient under DOLS and confused. He was extremely patient, checking on the patient regularly and ensuring he was safe without making the patient agitated. He had great communication skills and was always calm. He assisted the patient with meals and with a shave, always ensuring the patient was safe. The patient responded well to his care – remaining calm and not becoming agitated or aggressive all day.”

We caught up with Joseph his win, read what he had to say below.

How long have you been working with Thornbury Nursing?

I started working for Thornbury in the first week of December 2022.

What attracted you to join Thornbury Nursing?

I was attracted by the exceptional rates of pay and Thornbury’s great reputation.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I enjoy the opportunities to go to different work settings, working with varied client groups, and helping those in need.

How do you feel about being Nurse of the Month?

I feel valued and appreciated.
