Congratulations Lucy! Our Nurse of the Week in aid of International Nurses’ Day

Congratulations Lucy, our Nurse of the Week in aid of International Nurses’ Day. We caught up with Lucy on her win.

How long have you been working with Thornbury?

I have been working for Thornbury for over 9 years.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Even though I have been a nurse for so many years, it is the first time I am facing a pandemic. It has been very challenging. However, I learned to get rid of my fears of looking after patients with covid-19 and supporting nursing teams during this difficult time.

What attracted you to join Thornbury?

I love working for Thornbury and I am proud to be part of the team.

How do you feel about being Nurse of the Week in aid of International Nurses’ Day?

Many thanks to all of you that choose me as Nurse of the Week for International Nurses’ Day.

Thank you, Lucy and congratulations! You deserve it!
