Pride Month takes place every June and is a celebration of people coming together to show how far LGBTQ+ rights have come. We caught up with some of our nurses to hear how they planned to celebrate and support the community.

Biula – “I am organising a tea party with my friends! We are going to be dressed up in rainbow colours and do face paint!”

Amanda – “I have Lupus and support stroke awareness and speech therapy by making and selling hair accessories on Etsy. To celebrate Pride, I’ll be creating Pride-themed hair accessories to buy. Visit Tiny Miracles by Rj on Etsy if you’d like to make a donation. “

Joseph – “I acknowledge Pride by having respect for each and individual person; accepting and supporting the people of Pride.”

As a company, we will be attending Pride parades across the country with our fellow colleagues at Acacium Group. In line with our values of ‘putting people first’ and ‘always by your side’, our key focus is ensuring everyone – regardless of age, gender, race or sexuality – feels welcomed, accepted and respected. Watch out for us at the Pride parades across England, and make sure to say hello if you see us!
